Ripples of Kindness Project

Small Acts. Lasting Impact.

Every lighthouse sends its light across the water.

One beam becomes a ripple.

One ripple reaches another shore.

One small act of kindness can travel farther than we ever imagine.

Here at Two Suns Studio and in the world of The Moonkeeper’s Cat, we believe that kindness matters. We believe encouragement matters. We believe a few thoughtful words can brighten someone’s darkest day.

That’s why we’ve created Ripples of Kindness.

A community project dedicated to sharing hope, encouragement, and connection with people who may need it most.

Every order placed through my shop helps create an opportunity to send a little more light into the world.

Each postcard includes a reminder:

“Someone in the world needs encouragement today.”

Through the Ripples of Kindness Project, readers, family, teachers, parents, grandparents, and friends can submit encouraging letters that will be mailed to someone who could use a little kindness.

Sometimes the people who need encouragement are:

  • Residents in nursing homes
  • Children in hospitals
  • Cancer patients
  • Foster youth
  • Veterans
  • Teachers
  • Librarians
  • Caregivers
  • Neighbors
  • Friends
  • Complete strangers

A few kind words can mean more than we realize.

Step 1

Think of someone who could use encouragement.

This could be:

  • A family member
  • A friend
  • A teacher
  • A caregiver
  • A veteran
  • A nursing home resident
  • A hospital patient
  • A local organization
  • A community helper

Anyone who might benefit from knowing someone cares.

Step 2

Complete the Ripples of Kindness Form below.

Please include:

Recipient Name

Organization (if applicable)

Mailing Address

City, State, ZIP

Your Encouraging Message

Messages may be anonymous if you prefer.

Step 3

I’ll handwrite or print your message onto a letter card or a handmade postcard and mail it on your behalf.

Together, we’ll send a ripple of kindness into the world.

This project isn’t about large donations.

It isn’t about fundraising.

It isn’t about recognition.

It’s about simple kindness.

A card.

A letter.

A reminder that someone matters.

Many people go days, weeks, or even months without hearing an encouraging word.

Let’s change that together.

Ripples of Kindness is funded through my small business, community support, and the generosity of people who believe in spreading kindness.

A portion of proceeds from my books, artwork, educational resources, and other products helps cover the cost of:

  • Postage
  • Envelopes
  • Stationery
  • Printing
  • Packaging
  • Donated books and resources
  • Community kindness initiatives

Many of the letters sent through this project are funded directly through my business as a way of giving back.

When additional projects are launched—such as book donations, classroom support, or foster care initiatives—community members may have opportunities to contribute or sponsor specific efforts if they choose.

There is never a requirement to donate money in order to participate.

The heart of Ripples of Kindness is simple:

Kindness should be accessible to everyone.

Whether you submit a letter, nominate someone for encouragement, purchase a book, share a post, or simply tell someone they’re appreciated, you’re helping create ripples that travel farther than we may ever know.

Every act matters.

Every person matters.

Every ripple matters.

Thank you for helping make this possible.

If you would like to support Ripples of Kindness, you may make an optional donation using the button below. Donations are sent directly to Devon Browning and help fund postage, printing, Lighthouse Letter postcards, donated books, and future kindness initiatives. Every contribution—no matter the size—helps send a little more encouragement into the world and creates another ripple of kindness.

As Ripples of Kindness grows, I’ll track our impact here.

Every letter matters.

Every recipient matters.

Every ripple matters.

One of the central themes of The Moonkeeper’s Cat is that even the smallest light can help guide someone through the darkness.

The same is true in real life.

A thoughtful note.

A kind word.

A reminder that someone is seen.

These things matter more than we often realize.

The goal of Ripples of Kindness is simple:

To create a community that chooses kindness on purpose.

One letter at a time.

One ripple at a time.

Use the form below to submit your recipient’s information and message.

I’ll take it from there.

Together, let’s send a little more light into the world.

Because every lighthouse starts with a single lantern.

And every ripple begins with one small act of kindness.
