This little corner of my website holds many of the stories that have quietly found their way into my heart over the years. Some began as tiny sparks of wonder. Others grew from meaningful conversations, cherished memories, or hopes I carried for the children who might one day read them.
I never imagined creating a library of books.
I simply kept following one story after another.
And somehow, they led me here.

Stories That Begin with Wonder
I’ve always believed that childhood is filled with extraordinary moments hidden inside ordinary days.
A walk beneath the stars.
A seashell tucked into the sand.
A quiet library.
A sleepy lighthouse.
A buzzing bee.
A curious kitten.
A forgotten feather.
A child asking, “Why?”
Those little moments often become the beginnings of my stories.
Rather than writing books that simply entertain, I hope to create stories that invite children to slow down, wonder a little longer, and notice the quiet beauty that’s already around them.
If one of my books encourages a child to ask another question, show a little more kindness, or imagine something impossible, then I feel incredibly grateful.
A Place Called Moon Bay
Many of my books return to a magical little place called Moon Bay.
Nestled beside the sea beneath the watchful light of an old lighthouse, Moon Bay has slowly become home to some of my favorite characters.
There’s Miro, the gentle Moonkeeper’s Cat.
Oliver Wickett, who faithfully cares for lost things.
Cordelia Pearlwater, who protects treasured memories beneath the waves.
Juniper, the faithful lantern bird.
And many more friends still waiting for their own stories to be told.
Each visit to Moon Bay uncovers another quiet corner of its world, another lesson wrapped inside an adventure, and another reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can ripple farther than we ever imagine.
In many ways, Moon Bay has become a place I love visiting just as much as my readers do.
Beyond the Lighthouse
While Moon Bay will always feel like home, I also love wandering beyond its shores.
Some stories explore history.
Others celebrate science and discovery.
Some help children understand difficult emotions.
Others gently introduce topics like kindness, inclusion, foster care, Alzheimer’s, courage, friendship, or the beauty of our wonderfully different world.
No matter the subject, each book begins with the same quiet hope:
That a child will close the final page feeling a little more curious…
A little more compassionate…
And a little more hopeful than when they began.
Every Story Finds Its Reader
Not every child falls in love with the same kinds of books.
Some dream about space.
Others imagine ancient civilizations.
Some would happily spend every afternoon in a library.
Others prefer adventures beneath the sea, inside forests, or among sleepy bees and curious cats.
That’s one of my favorite things about writing.
Every new story is another invitation.
Another doorway waiting to be opened.
Another chance for a child to discover a character who feels like a friend.
Still Growing
One of the happiest surprises of becoming an author has been discovering that stories have a way of finding one another.
A single character introduces another.
A tiny side path becomes an entirely new adventure.
A quiet idea grows into a whole new world.
Because of that, this library is always growing.
There are many more books waiting patiently in notebooks, sketches, and late-night ideas that I hope to share in the years ahead.
